Connecting to IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus

Before you can use the objects in this Integration Pack, you must create connections to an IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus ObjectServer. Then, when you use the objects in this Integration Pack, you select the connection that you want to use.

To add an IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus connection:

1.	In the Opalis Integration Server Client, click the Options menu and select Netcool/OMNIbus. The IBM Netcool/OMNIbus ObjectServer connections dialog appears.

2.	Click Add. The Netcool OMNIBUS Connection dialog appears.

3.	In the Name field, type a name for the connection that you are creating.

4.	In the Host name field, type the name of the IBM Tivoli Netcool/OMNIbus ObjectServer that you want to connect to, or click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for it.

5.	In the Port number field, type the port number that you want to use to connect to the ObjectServer.

6.	In the User id field, type the user name required to connect to the ObjectServer.

7.	In the Password field, type the password required to connect to the ObjectServer.

8.	Click OK. The IBM Netcool/OMNIbus ObjectServer connections dialog appears, displaying the list of connections.

9.	To remove or edit an item, select the item and click Remove or Edit, respectively.
