Reconcile Database
The Reconcile Database object is
used to reconcile the instances and relationships in configuration
management databases.
How it is used
Use the Reconcile Database object to
manually start a reconciliation job run.
Configuration
To configure the Reconcile Database
object, you will need to know the name of the BMC Atrium CMDB
connection, and the job name that you want to run.

Connection

Type the name of the connection
that you want to use, or click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for it. Select the
connection from the Item
Selection dialog.

Job name
|
Type the name of the job that
you want to use, or click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for it. Select the job
from the Item Selection dialog.

Wait for Reconcile Database to
finish
|
Select this option to prevent
the rest of your Policy from running until after an amount of time
has elapsed, or the reconcile job run has finished.
|
Wait for n minutes
|
To specify the number of
minutes that your Policy should wait for the reconcile job run to
finish before continuing, type a number in the text box. To wait
until the reconcile job run has finished, type 0 (zero).

Do not wait for Reconcile
Database to finish
|
Select this option to enable
the rest of your Policy to run while the reconcile job run is in
progress.
