The Change Event Severity object
modifies the severity level of a Tivoli Enterprise Console
event.
You can also use the
Update
Event to change the severity level of an event.
Use the Change Event Severity object
to downgrade the severity of an event if you discover that the
event is a false positive as a result of a diagnostic Policy. You
can also upgrade the severity of an event if required.
To configure the Change Event
Severity object you need to know the event's reception ID and
handle, the server handle, and the level of severity that you are
assigning to the event.
