
Update Service Call
The Update Service Call object
enables you to make changes to or close existing service
calls.
How it is used
Use the Update Service Call object
to add information to a service call that provides an audit trail
of the steps that were taken to fulfill the request.
Configuration
To configure the Update Service Call
object you need to know the ID of the service call that you are
updating.

Type the ID of the service call
that you are updating, or insert a Published Data item.

To add or remove fields
that will be modified:

Click Select Fields. The Select Fields dialog appears.

Select the fields that you want
to make configurable in the Available fields list and click
>> to add them to the
Selected fields list.

To remove fields that have
already been added, select them in the Selected fields list and click
<<.
|
Available Published Data
The common fields that are used as
part of an HP OpenView Operations Service Desk service call are
available as Published Data. The names of the Published Data items
for each field reflect the names of each of the fields in the HP
OpenView Operations Service Desk client.

The closure code assigned to
the service call.
