
Update Incident
The Update Incident object enables
you to make changes to or close existing incidents.
How it is used
Use the Update Incident object to
add information to an incident that provides an audit trail of the
steps that were taken during a diagnostic Policy.
Configuration
To configure the Update Incident
object you need to know the ID of the incident that you are
updating.

Type the ID of the incident
that you are updating, or insert a Published Data item from another
object.

To add or remove fields
that will be modified:

Click Select Fields. The Select Fields dialog appears.

Select the fields that you want
to make configurable in the Available fields list and click
>> to add them to the
Selected fields list.

To remove fields that have
already been added, select them in the Selected fields list and click
<<.
|
Available Published Data
The common fields that are used as
part of an HP OpenView Operations Service Desk incident are
available as Published Data. The names of the Published Data items
for each field reflect the names of each of the fields in the HP
OpenView Operations Service Desk client.

The name of the user used to

The time that the incident was
finished.

Incident Closure code
|
The closure code assigned to
the incident.

Incident Description
|
The description of the
incident.

The ID of the incident.

Incident Impact
|
The impact of the
incident.

|
The status of the
incident.
