
Update Work Order
The Update Work Order object enables
you to make changes to or close existing work orders.
How it is used
Use the Update Work Order object to
add information to a work order that provides an audit trail of the
steps that were taken during a diagnostic Policy.
Configuration
To configure the Update Work Order
object you need to know the identification number of the work order
that you are updating.

ID

Type the ID of the work order
that you are updating, or insert a Published Data item.

To add or remove fields
that will be modified:

Click Select Fields. The Select Fields dialog appears.

Select the fields that you want
to make configurable in the Available fields list and click
>> to add them to the
Selected fields list.

To remove fields that have
already been added, select them in the Selected fields list and click
<<.
|
Available Published Data
The common fields that are used as
part of an HP OpenView Operations Service Desk work order are
available as Published Data. The names of the Published Data items
for each field reflect the names of each of the fields in the HP
OpenView Operations Service Desk client.

The name of the user used to

The time that the work order
was finished.

Work Order Closure code
|
The closure code assigned to
the work order.

|
The description of the work
order.

The ID of the work order.

|
The impact of the work
