Get Incident
The Get Incident object retrieves incidents from HP OpenView Operations Service Desk according to filter criteria that you specify.
How it is used
Use the Get Incident object to retrieve incidents from HP OpenView Operations Service Desk and replicate them to another trouble ticketing system in your organization.
Configuration
To configure the Get Incident object you need to know the properties of the incidents that you are retrieving.
Details tab
The list displays all filters that you have created.
To add a filter:
1.
Click Add. The Edit Filter dialog appears.
2.
From the Field drop-down list, select the field that you want to search in.
3.
From the Relation drop-down list, select the relation that you will use to compare for your search.
4.
In the Value field, type the value that you will search for in the item that you selected. Do not use quotation marks when specifying the value.
5.
Click OK. The filter appears in the list.
6.
To edit the filter, select it and click Edit. To remove the filter, select it and click Remove.
Note: When you specify a filter that uses the "Equals" relation, you cannot use any other filters for that field, nor add a filter with the "Equals" relation if you have already specified filters for that field.
The common fields that are used as part of an HP OpenView Operations Service Desk incident are available as Published Data. The names of the Published Data items for each field reflect the names of each of the fields in the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk client.

Name
Description
Incidents count
The number of incidents that were found.
Login server
The name of the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server computer.
Login port
The port number used to communicate with the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server.
Login username
The name of the user used to login to the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server.
Incident Actual finish
The time that the incident was finished.
Incident Closure code
The closure code assigned to the incident.
Incident Description
The description of the incident.
Incident ID
The ID of the incident.
Incident Impact
The impact of the incident.
Incident Status
The status of the incident.
