Close Incident

The Close Incident object closes an open incident.

How it is used

Use the Close Incident object to automatically close an incident after a Policy has corrected the problem that triggered the creation of the incident.

Configuration

To configure the Close Incident object you need to know the ID of the incident that you are closing.

ID	Type the ID of the incident that you are closing, or insert a Published Data item from another object.

The list of required fields also appear. You must configure all of these fields.

Available Published Data

 

Name	Description
Login server	The name of the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server computer.
Login port	The port number used to communicate with the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server.
Login username	The name of the user used to login to the HP OpenView Operations Service Desk server.
Incident Actual finish	The time that the incident was finished.
Incident Closure code	The closure code assigned to the incident.
Incident Description	The description of the incident.
Incident ID	The ID of the incident.
Incident Impact	The impact of the incident.
Incident Status	The status of the incident.
