Configuring BMC Remedy AR System Server Options
Before you can use the Integration Pack for BMC Remedy AR System, you must configure the server connections that the Integration Pack will use when interacting with the BMC Remedy AR System.
To configure BMC Remedy AR System server options:
1.
In the Opalis Integration Server Client, click the Options menu, and select Remedy AR System. The BMC Remedy AR System Connections dialog appears.

Click the Add button. The BMC Remedy AR System Connection Settings dialog appears.
3.
In the Name field, type a name for the connection that you are creating.
4.
In the Computer field, type the name of the computer that hosts the BMC Remedy AR System server, or click the ellipsis button (...) and browse for it.
5.
In the User name field, type the user name that this Integration Pack will use when connecting to the BMC Remedy AR System server. This account must have sufficient privileges to create, update, and monitor requests, and to retrieve their status from the BMC Remedy AR System server.

In the Password field, type the password that this Integration Pack will use when connecting to the BMC Remedy AR System server.
7.
To configure the Remedy AR System connection to use a portmapper, check the Use portmapper check box and type the TCP Port and RPC# that corresponds to the portmapper configuration that will be used.
8.
To show display-only fields from Remedy AR System in the objects in this Integration Pack, check the Show ‘Display Only’ fields check box.
9.
To filter forms by application, check the Filter forms by application check box, and select the application that you want to filter by from the Application drop-down list.

If you will be using the objects in this Integration Pack to convert Remedy AR System attachments into Published Data items, click the ellipsis button (...) beside the Folder field and select the folder where you want to save attachments, or type a UNC path in the Folder field. See the “Handling Attachments” topic for more information.
11.
Click OK. The connection appears in the list.
12.
To test the connection to the BMC Remedy AR System server, click Test Connection.
13.
To remove or edit a connection, select the connection in the list and click Remove or Edit, respectively.
