Authoring Console Supported Configurations
This section lists the supported hardware and software configurations for installing and running the Operations Manager 2007 R2authoring console.
Hardware Requirements
The following are the minimum and recommended hardware requirements for running the authoring console.

Software Requirements
The authoring console requires the following software in order to run:
- Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0
- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5
- Optionally, Microsoft Office Word 2003 with
the .NET Programmability feature and Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Tools for the Microsoft Office System. They are required to create
or edit Management Pack knowledge data.
