Uninstalling the Opalis Remoting
Service
The Deployment Manager uses the
Opalis Remoting Service to install and uninstall Integration Packs,
Hotfixes, Action Servers, and Clients on remote and local machines.
It is also used for querying machines about what is installed on
them.
When you uninstall Opalis
Integration Server, the Deployment Manager is uninstalled, but the
Opalis Remoting Service must be removed manually.
To uninstall the Opalis
Remoting Service:
1.
|
On each machine where the Opalis
Remoting Service is installed, open the Windows Services Manager
and stop the OpalisRemotingService
service.
|
2.
|
On the machine that hosts the
Management Server, open a command prompt and go to the Management
Server Console folder. By default, this path is C:\Program
Files\Opalis Software\Opalis Integration Server\Management
Service\Console.
|
3.
|
Type the following
command:
|
OISDeploymentManager.exe /removeremoting
<COMPUTER>
Replace <COMPUTER> with
the name of the computer that you want to remove the service
from.
4.
|
Repeat step 3 for each computer that you want to remove the
service from.
