Managing security

In Microsoft Provisioning System, security is implemented at several levels. The primary aspects of Microsoft Provisioning Framework (MPF) security are that it provides access control during request processing and protects data services such as the SQL databases and Windows registry.

Delegated Administration Console uses Active Directory to isolate accounts from each other. When using the Delegated Administration Console user interface (UI), users do not see accounts unless they have the appropriate permissions to do so. If you are using Active Directory, you can also manage the security of each Active Directory object.
