Understanding the Delegated Administration Console user
interface
Delegated Administration Console provides authenticated access
to administrators, customer service representatives (CSRs), and end
users for performing day-to-day administrative tasks. When
users log onto Delegated Administration Console, they are able to
view and configure options for which they have privileges, based on
their roles. This allows Microsoft Provisioning System
administrators to share the workload with other users.
For example, end users can view and change their own
information, while administrators and customer service
representatives can view and change information for all of the user
accounts, groups, and organizations that they are authorized to
administer. However, they are unable to view or change information
for user accounts in any other organizations. For more information,
see Understanding
roles and privileges.
