Understanding the Delegated Administration Console user interface

Delegated Administration Console provides authenticated access to administrators, customer service representatives (CSRs), and end users for performing day-to-day administrative tasks. When users log onto Delegated Administration Console, they are able to view and configure options for which they have privileges, based on their roles. This allows Microsoft Provisioning System administrators to share the workload with other users.

For example, end users can view and change their own information, while administrators and customer service representatives can view and change information for all of the user accounts, groups, and organizations that they are authorized to administer. However, they are unable to view or change information for user accounts in any other organizations. For more information, see Understanding roles and privileges.
