Class Extensions
The MPS .NET Client Wrapper is a starting point for developers.
Listed below are some proposed methods that you might add to the
request class to make the class more useful:
- AddNode - A method that takes in a location in the tree, a node
name, and a value and returns the tree updated with a new node in
the location specified and the value set appropriately.
- AddBasicAuth - A method that accepts the XML request, a user
name, and a password and returns the XML request with the security
and context node structure necessary for passing basic
authentication credentials to the MPF engine.
- AddCustomTransform - A method that allows the developer to add
a custom after or before transform to manipulate a specific piece
of data.
- OtherMethod - Any other method that you find yourself using
repeatedly when building requests. One such example could be when
developing a number of requests that utilize the SQL Provider. The
structure for adding parameter nodes and values to the request is
repeatable and can easily be encapsulated in a generic form.
