The CreateCustomerSite procedure does a check to see if the specified customer is associated with a Sharepoint hosting plan and that the site limit dictated by that plan has not been exceeded.

The following provisioning steps occur to create a customer Sharepoint Site Collection with the CreateCustomerSite procedure:

• Get customer plan settings(maxSites) by calling HostedSharePoint2007::GetOrganizationPlanAssignment and Managed Plans::GetPlan.
• Get the total number of sites assigned to customer by HostedSharePoint2007:: QuerySitesByCustomer.
• Check whether it reaches the max limit.
• Create the customer site by calling ManagedSharePoint2007::CreateCustomerSite.

The CreateCustomerSite procedure has the following security requirements:

• Impersonate Caller.
• Caller Tested for OrgCreator permissions: Domain Administrators
