Allows you to specify the source of the data or events matched
by the rule. The fields are defined as follows:
Provider name
Specifies the name of the data provider.
Provider type
Specifies the name of the data provider type for the selected
provider, such as Windows event log, Windows performance counter,
or timed event provider. This field is read-only.
Provider settings
Describes the settings for the provider instance. This field is
read-only.
To create a new provider, click New.
To modify a performance processing rule provider type, click
Modify. The Modify button is only available when
viewing the properties for performance processing rules.
