Notification Group Properties, Notification Group Tab

Allows you to specify the name of a notification group and assign operators to the group. Operators can belong to more than one notification group. The fields are defined as follows:

Name

Specifies the name of the notification group.

Group operators

Lists operators who have been added to the specified notification group and can receive alerts that affect the notification group. You can remove an operator from the notification group by clicking the operator name and clicking the bottom arrow.

Available operators

Lists operators who are not assigned to the specified notification group. You can add an available operator to the Group operators list by clicking the operator name and clicking the top arrow.

New operator

Allows you to specify the properties for a new operator and add the new operator to the Available operators list. The new operator is also available to other notification groups.

Properties

Allows you to view and edit the properties of the specified operator.
