Global Settings Properties, E-mail Server Tab

Allows you to specify settings for e-mail to notification groups. The Consolidator will use these settings when sending e-mail notifications. The fields are defined as follows:

Transport

Specifies the e-mail transport provider.

Exchange server

Specifies the name of the Exchange server. This field is available only if you select Microsoft Exchange in the Transport field.

Mailbox

Specifies the name of the Exchange mailbox the Consolidator will use to send e-mail notifications. This field is available only if you select Microsoft Exchange in the Transport field.

Server name

Specifies the name of the SMTP server. You can specify the DNS name or the host name of the computer. This field is available only if you select SMTP in the Transport field.

Returned address

Specifies the Internet return address for the message sender. This field is available only if you select SMTP in the Transport field.

SMTP Port

Specifies the TCP port number that the SMTP server uses. This field is available only if you select SMTP in the Transport field.
