After you install MOM Reporting, you can start the tool from the
Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 program group. You can also
start MOM Reporting from within the Monitor snap-in. For more
information, see Opening MOM Reporting through
the MOM Administrator Console.
To open MOM Reporting:
Click Start.
Click Programs on the Start menu.
Click Microsoft Operations Manager on the
Programs menu.
Click MOM Reporting on the Microsoft Operations
Manager menu.
If you have not selected a data source, MOM Reporting displays a
message window that prompts you to select a data source. Before you
can view a report, you need to select a data source.
Note
The data source must be configured for integrated security. In
addition, your user account must be a member of the OnePointOp MOM
Reporting group. This group provides Read access to all the data
used by MOM Reporting.
Opening MOM Reporting through the MOM Administrator
Console
You can also start MOM Reporting from within the Monitor
snap-in.
To open MOM Reporting from within the
Monitor:
Click Monitor or any other Monitor item in the left
pane.
Click Action on the menu bar.
Click View Reports on the Action menu.
If MOM Reporting is installed on the local computer and reports
are published on the Web, you will be prompted to select which
reports you want to view. To open MOM Reporting, select the reports
on the local computer.
