Modifying Data Provider Properties

You can modify properties for most data providers. You cannot modify some predefined providers.

To modify data provider properties:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Rules in the left pane.
3. Expand Advanced in the left pane.
4. Click Providers in the left pane.
5. In the right pane, click the data provider with properties you want to modify.
6. Click Action on the menu bar.
7. Click Properties on the Action menu.
8. Specify the desired values, and then click OK.
