Exporting Processing Rules

You can export processing rules as Management Pack modules for backup purposes or to use in other configuration groups.

To export processing rules:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Rules in the left pane.
3. Expand Processing Rule Groups in the left pane.
4. Click the processing rule group containing rules you want to export.
5. Click Action on the menu bar.
6. Click Export Management Pack module on the Action menu.
7. Specify the desired values, and then click. OK.
