Disabling a Processing Rule
You can disable a processing rule to temporarily stop it from
being evaluated on monitored computers.
To disable a processing rule:
- Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the
left pane.
- Expand Rules in the left pane.
- Expand Processing Rule Groups in the left pane.
- In the left pane, expand the processing rule group that
contains the processing rule you want to disable.
- In the left pane, click the Event, Alert, or Performance
Processing Rules folder that contains the processing rule you want
to disable.
- In the right pane, click the processing rule you want to
disable.
- Click Action on the menu bar.
- Click Properties on the Action menu.
- Clear the Enabled check box, and then click
OK.
