Adding a Child Processing Rule Group

You can add a child processing rule group to a parent processing rule group. Child groups are processing rule groups within a processing rule group.

To add a child processing rule group:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Rules in the left pane.
3. Click Processing Rule Groups in the left pane.
4. Click the parent processing rule group.
5. Click Action on the menu bar.
6. Click All Tasks on the Action menu.
7. Click Add Child Processing Rule Group on the All Tasks menu.
8. Select the child processing rule group you wish to add, and then click OK.
