Configuring Communication Ports
You can change the default TCP/IP port for communications
between agents and Consolidators in a configuration group.
To configure the TCP/IP port:
- Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the
left pane.
- Expand Configuration in the left pane.
- Click Global Settings in the left pane.
- Click Communications in the right pane.
- Click Action on the menu bar.
- Click Properties on the Action menu.
- Specify the desired port number, and then click OK.
- Perform a managed computer scan on all agents. For more
information about scanning agents, see Scanning Managed Computers.
- Stop and restart the OnePoint service on all agent
computers.
- Stop and restart the OnePoint service on all Consolidator
computers.
