Configuring Alert Resolution States

You can create your own alert resolution states, as well as modify most of the default states. You can also specify the service level agreement time, the maximum amount of time an alert should remain in a resolution state before it becomes a service level exception.

To configure alert resolution states:

  1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
  2. Expand Configuration in the left pane.
  3. Click Global Settings in the left pane.
  4. Click Alert Resolution States in the right pane.
  5. Click Action on the menu bar.
  6. Click Properties on the Action menu.
  7. Specify the desired settings, and then click OK.
