Deleting a Computer Attribute

You might want to delete a computer attribute if it is no longer required by computer grouping rules. If you delete an attribute that is part of a computer grouping rule, the computer grouping rule becomes invalid.

To delete a computer attribute:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Rules in the left pane.
3. Expand Advanced in the left pane.
4. Click Computer Attributes in the left pane.
5. In the right pane, click the attribute that you want to delete.
6. Click Action on the menu bar.
7. Click Delete on the Action menu.
8. Click Yes.
