Viewing the Processing Rule that Generated an Alert

You can view detailed properties of the processing rule that generated an alert.

Viewing the processing rule that generated a specific alert requires your user account to be a member of the Operators (OnePointOps Operators) Windows NT user group. For more information, see Requirements and Permissions.

To view the processing rule that generated an alert:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Monitor in the left pane.
3. Display the alert. For more information, see Viewing Alerts.
4. Click the alert in the right pane.
5. Click Action on the menu bar.
6. Click All Tasks on the Action menu.
7. Click View Rule.
