Viewing the Knowledge Base for an Alert

The alert knowledge base can include information from Microsoft or from your company. You can view the knowledge base in the alert properties.

To view the knowledge base for an alert:

1. Expand Microsoft Operations Manager (default) in the left pane.
2. Expand Monitor in the left pane.
3. Display the alert. For more information, see Viewing Alerts.
4. Click the alert in the right pane.
5. Click Action on the menu bar.
6. Click View Knowledge Base on the Action menu.
