Defining a Response for an Alert

You can define a response for an existing alert in the Monitor snap-in. When the alert occurs again, Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 will perform the response.

Defining a response for an existing alert in the Monitor snap-in requires your user account to be a member of the Operators (OnePointOps Operators) user group. For more information, see Requirements and Permissions.

You can also create an alert processing rule in the Rules snap-in. For more information, see Creating an Alert Processing Rule.
