Notifications

Sending a notification to a network administrator is one way Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 can respond to a processing rule match. The Consolidator performs notifications. Notification responses include the following actions:

• Sending an e-mail
• Sending a page
• Sending a notification by external command

For notification responses, you must create notification groups.
