Configuration Changes

This report summarizes the changes made to processing rules or the configuration group. Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 (MOM) logs these changes in the database. MOM Reporting provides this report sorted in several ways:

The columns of this report are defined as follows:

Table
Specifies the table modified in the database.
Time Logged
Specifies the date and time the change was logged.
User
Specifies the name of the user who made the change.
Action
Specifies the change that was made, such as Insert, Update, or Delete.
Interface
Specifies the MOM API that was called to make the change. Following each entry in this report, the report lists the parameters associated with the API call.

These reports are only generated when you have enabled Data Access Server (DAS) auditing. DAS auditing is CPU-intensive and stores a considerable amount of data in the database. By default, auditing is disabled. You can enable auditing in the Configuration properties dialog box.
