Understanding Dates and Times

Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 (MOM) stores dates and times in Greenwich Mean Time. MOM Reporting converts the specified dates and times to ensure the time for an event listed in a report is represented in the local time for that user. If you specify dates and times as criteria for a report, specify the values in your local time. If you create your own reports, you need to convert the dates and times you retrieve from the MOM database.

MOM Reporting uses the Short date style and Time style specified in the Regional and Language Options application in Control Panel. To specify a date and time, separate the two values with a comma. MOM Reporting supports the following date formats:
