The Monitor provides access to information in the database using
the following types of views that you can create and customize for
your enterprise monitoring needs:
Alert views
Provide information about alerts that have occurred in the
configuration group. Service level exceptions views display
alerts that do not meet service level agreements. Alert information
includes the alert severity, resolution state, and owner.
Event views
Provide information about events that have occurred in the
configuration group. This information includes the event type, the
time the event occurred, and the computer on which the event
occurred.
Computer performance views
Provide the number of performance counters on specified
computers in the configuration group. You can graph data in
computer performance views.
Performance data views
Provide information about performance measurement in the
configuration group. You can graph data in performance data
views.
Computer views
Provide information about computers in the configuration group.
This information includes the highest severity alert on the
computer, the last time the agent contacted a Consolidator, and the
number of alerts with a resolution state of New.
Computer group views
Provide information about computer groups in the configuration
group. This information includes the most severe unresolved alert
on a computer in the computer group.
Computer attribute views
Provide information about computer attributes collected on
computers in the configuration group. This information includes the
date and time when the attribute was collected, and the value of
the attribute.
