The Configuration snap-in allows you to manage the agents, Consolidator, and Agent Manager components within a single configuration group. You can view and modify configuration group settings for all components, as well as configure individual components. The Configuration snap-in also allows you to view and approve agents before they are automatically installed on or uninstalled from computers within the configuration group. If you want to manage components for several configuration groups, you can add other Microsoft Operations Manager 2000 snap-ins to the MOM Administrator Console.
When you select the Configuration item in the left-pane console tree, the details pane displays descriptions of the different windows in the Rules snap-in. Clicking an icon or link in the details pane displays the related window.
