Prepare for Development

This section describes how to prepare App-V in the development environment. To sequence and test applications, a simple App-V infrastructure is required that can easily be deployed in a lab environment. When using application streaming, install and configure an App-V Management Server. If only stand-alone virtual applications will be deployed, only the App-V Sequencer and App-V Desktop Client are required.

This section does not describe deploying an App-V infrastructure in a production environment. A variety of topologies is possible, depending on requirements.
