The descriptive name of the hardware abstraction layer (HAL) currently running on the target computer.

Note   This property is required only for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 deployment. Also, This property is dynamically set by the MDT scripts and is not configured in CustomSettings.ini or the MDT DB. Treat this property as read only.
