Windows Server 2012 Summary Results Set Assessment Properties

The Set Assessment Properties page allows you to view and set hardware configuration thresholds and overall assessment properties for use in the Windows Server 2012 readiness assessment. By default, Windows Server 2012 minimum system requirements settings are provided. If custom settings have been set, these are stored in the toolkit and will become the default settings in future Windows Server 2012  assessments. The defaults can be restored by selecting the Use the default settings provided by Microsoft® option and then the Run Assessment option.

 

The following items can be adjusted for the x64 platform only:

CPU Speed (GHz)

CPU speed can be adjusted to any level above the minimum allowed by the installer.

Free Disk (GB)

Free disk required can be adjusted to any level above the minimum allowed by the installer.

Memory (MB)

Memory can be adjusted to any level above the minimum allowed by the installer.

 

The following items can be adjusted for use in the assessment:

If DVD drive not found, flag computer as not ready

Select this check box if want to require a DVD drive to be present for a computer to qualify for Windows Server 2012.
