After you have added a Front End Server and the Web Components Server, you can add a Web Conferencing Server to your pool. If your organization plans to support only instant messaging and presence, it is not necessary to add a Web Conferencing Server to your deployment.

Install the Web Conferencing Server
Procedure W03-DWHO.22: To install the Web Conferencing server

Log on to OCSPOOLCONF01 as Fabrikam\Administrator.

Run Setup.exe from the Office Communications Server 2007 Enterprise Edition media to start the Office Communications Server 2007 deployment wizard.
Note: If you are prompted to install a C++ Redistributable component, do so. -
On the Deploy Pools in an Expanded Topology page, select Add Web Conferencing Server.

Next to Step 1: Install Files for Web Conferencing Server, click Install.

Activate the Web Conferencing Server

On OCSPOOLCONF01, from the Office Communications Server 2007 deployment wizard, on the Add Web Conferencing Server page, next to Step 2: Activate Web Conferencing Server, click Run.

At the Select a Pool screen, select OCSPool01.fabrikam.com.

At the Select Service Account screen, select Use An Existing Account, and accept the default account name of RTCComponentService. Enter and verify the password for this account.
Note: By default, the RTCComponentService account is used by both the Web Conferencing Server and the Audio/Video Conferencing Server. -
When the wizard is complete, select View the log when you click Finish check box, and review the deployment log after installation completes to verify a successful Web Conferencing Server activation.
