The availability data for Exchange can be retrieved from the Exchange 2007 Management Pack through System Center Operations Manager 2007. The data will be available to the service providers for consumption through Query Client API that will access a cached health state (by default. refreshed every 5 minutes). Although the availability service retrieves the Exchange health state every 5 minutes, the refreshing interval of the availability data in Management Pack varies from 5 to 15 minutes. The availability data will be multi-tenant enabled.
The Hosted Messaging and Collaboration availability API provides monitoring capability for the following Exchange states:
