The MPS Deployment Tool performs the following tasks at deployment time:

• Installs MPS components in the provisioning environment.
  
• Executes the appropriate configuration and initialization procedures that you scheduled.
  
• Performs the background tasks described in MPS Deployment Tool Background Processes.
  
• Utilizes the Deployment Automation Namespace to automatically perform numerous procedures that create and configure various components in the provisioning environment - this minimizes user performance of manual steps in the deployment process.
