The Provisioning Manager is a Microsoft Management Console (MMC) snap-in that provides a user interface for managing Microsoft Provisioning System (MPS) components from a single server. The Provisioning Manager can be installed on the MPS servers. The MPS components that you can administer from this tool include the following:

  • Provisioning servers - Includes configuring the manner in which transactions are processed.
  • Namespaces - Includes administration of managed namespaces.
  • Credentials implemented in MPS - Includes administration of stored credentials.
  • Security context - In which procedures run.

See the "Provisioning Manager" topic in the MPS Operations Guide for further details on the Provisioning Manager. You can locate the MPS Operations Guide on the Microsoft Hosting Solutions for Service Providers site at: \Service Provisioning\MPS\MPF\help\opsguide.chm.
