The options you will choose to deploy MPS in your hosting environment depend upon one or more of the following factors:

• Your experience level as an MPS user.
  
• The deployment scenario that best accommodates your environment (see Choose MPS Deployment Options).
  
• The provisioning implementations you want in your environment (see Evaluate Provisioning Implementations).
  
• The Provision Hosted Services for which you want to provide provisioning facilities.
  

Your assessment of these factors should help you determine which of the following suggested configurations is suitable for your MPS deployment:

• Minimal Service Provisioning Environment - Users who are new to MPS are advised to deploy this configuration.
  
• Fault Tolerant Service Provisioning Environment - Users who are experienced with MPS can deploy this configuration.
