The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.
To learn more about this alert, in Operations Manager, do one or more of the following:
- From the Operations Console, double-click this alert, and then
click the General tab. Review the description of the alert
that includes the variables specific to your environment.
- From the Operations Console, double-click this alert, and then
click the Alert Context tab. Review the logged events that
meet the criteria of this Operations Manager alert.

Explanation
This Warning event indicates that the Active Directory Rights Management Services (RMS) service connection point (SCP) URL cannot be found or is invalid.
User Action
To resolve this problem, you must reregister the SCP by using the Active Directory RMS server. To do this, follow these steps.

To complete this procedure, you must have, at least, membership in the AD RMS Enterprise Administrators and in the Enterprise Admins group in AD DS, or equivalent. |
To register a service connection point:
- Log on to a server in the cluster on which you have to register
an SCP.
- Open the Active Directory RMS console.
- Right-click the AD RMS cluster, and then click
Properties.
- Click the SCP tab.
- Click to select the Change SCP check box.
- Click the Set the SCP to current certification cluster
option, and then click OK.
- Click Yes to confirm.
