The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

The message could not be received from a domain-secured domain because of a configuration error on a Receive connector.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the Receive connector that accepts mail for the domain where Domain Secured e-mail is received has been configured incorrectly. Receive connectors that accept Domain Secured e-mail must include Transport Layer Security (TLS) as a specified authentication mechanism.

User Action

To resolve this error, you must set TLS as the authentication mechanism on the Receive connector that accepts Domain Secure e-mail for the given domain. For more information, see Set-ReceiveConnector.
