The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

The IIS Admin Service (IISAdmin) isn't running.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the IIS Admin service (IISAdmin) service is not running.

User Action

To resolve this problem, start the IIS Admin service. To do this, follow these steps.

Start the IIS Admin Service
  1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

  2. In Services, locate IIS Admin in the details pane.

  3. Right-click the service, and then click Start.
