The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

click the General tab. Review the description of the alert
that includes the variables specific to your environment.
- From the Operations Console, double-click this alert, and then
click the Alert Context tab. Review the logged events that

Explanation
This alert indicates that Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Provider cannot obtain DNS records.
- If this event was triggered by event 2105, it could not obtain
records for the domain specified in the event description.
- If this event was triggered by event 2106, it could not obtain
records for the forest specified in the event description.
This alert may occur when DNS is configured incorrectly for the domain or forest. The Active Directory topology discovery will continue with the default values specified in the event description for event 2105 or 2106.
User Action
To resolve this warning in future topology discoveries, follow these steps:
- If event 2105 triggered this alert, make sure that the domain
controllers for the domain specified in the event description are
registered correctly on the DNS server. If event 2106 triggered
this alert, make sure that global catalog servers for the forest
specified in the event description are registered correctly on the
