Rule Name

OABGen received an error while trying to delete one of the offline address book files from the distribution point.

Explanation

This Warning event indicates that the offline address book (OAB) generation (OABGen) failed to delete the previous version of the files from the OAB distribution point.

User Action

To resolve this Warning event, do one or more of the following:

  • Review the Application log for related events. For example, events that occur immediately before and after this event may provide more information about the root cause of this warning.

  • If this event has been logged more than once for the same file, check the file permissions in the OAB distribution point. To locate the file path location for the OAB distribution point, run the Exchange Management Shell cmdlet Get-OABVirtualDirectory.
