The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

A configuration change was detected but the updated Receive connector configuration could not be read. The configuration change will be ignored.

Explanation

This Warning event indicates that a change in the configuration of a Receive connector was detected by the Microsoft Exchange Transport service, and the updated configuration couldn't be read.

User Action

To resolve this Warning event, do one or more of the following:

  • Use the Get-ReceiveConnector cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell to review the configuration of all Receive connectors on the server that generated this error. For more information, see Get-ReceiveConnector.

  • Review other related Error and Warning events in the Application log. These related events may help you find the root cause of this error.
