The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

The configuration for one of the SMTP Receive connectors is invalid. The configuration change will be ignored, and the last good configuration will be used.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that there is a configuration error in a Receive connector. A required parameter is missing or is corrupted, or it contains invalid data. The configuration of the affected Receive connector must be fixed before it can be used.

User Action

To resolve this error, Use the Set-ReceiveConnector cmdlet in the Exchange Management Shell to correct the specified configuration error.
