The Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Management Pack for System Center Operations Manager monitors the Windows Application log on computers running Exchange 2010 and generates this alert when the events specified in the following Details table are logged.

Rule Name

Failed to generate the Offline Address Book. The error is specified in the event description.

Explanation

This Error event indicates that the Exchange server failed to generate an offline address book (OAB) because one of the address lists has been deleted or the organization that the address list belongs to has been removed. When you delete an address list, the link to the OAB in the address list is not removed. The event is logged when you try to access a deleted object on the server.

User Action

To resolve this error, remove the address list from the OAB. For more information about how to remove an address list from an OAB, see Add or Remove an Address List from an Offline Address Book.
